Is Valutrades a Scam? Complete Review and Real Customer Feedback
Contents
Valutrades – An ECN broker which operates in two groups of territories and is respectively managed by two legal entities: Valutrades Limited (UK) and Valutrades (Seychelles) Limited (Seychelles) (Forex Brokers). It works in two directions: Forex and CFD.
In this review we will analyze the British provider as the one closest to us. And we will try to understand how reliable the broker is. Or if Valutrades is a scam. Let’s start with the main thing.
Terms of Trading with Valutrades
В valutrades.com you open a single ECN account. This means that you see the best price options among all the liquidity providers. Moreover, the broker has no influence on the offers that you see, and therefore is not able to “draw” quotes. However, there is a downside: you have to pay a commission of $3 from each transaction.
The account is created in AUD (Australian dollar), CHF (Swiss franc), EUR (euro), GBP (British pound sterling), JPY (Japanese yen), USD (American dollar), ZAR (South African rand) and NZD (New Zealand dollar). Before you are allowed to trade, you need to pass a small test (determines your skills) and verify your identity (upload a passport photo, proof of address and financial status). Offered are more than 80 assets, of which about 50 – currency pairs, all the rest CFD. Scalping and hedging are allowed, it is possible to trade with the help of Expert Advisors, invest in PAMM.
It is stated that the spread starts at 0 pips, but in the detailed trading conditions, if you look at this indicator for each pair separately, you can see that the minimum value is 0.01 pips.
Leverage is floating. For beginners it is quite small: up to 1:30, for professional traders it increases to 1:500, but the status must be confirmed. You must meet at least two of the three criteria:
- Existence of trading operations of significant size.
- Savings and investments of 500,000 euros or more.
- Experience in the financial services sector at least 1 year.
In addition to the above, account holders are provided with:
- Free VPS.
- Lots of training materials in different formats (reference book, glossary, videos, webinars, blogs, etc.).
- Analytics and tools (economic calendar, indicators, etc.).
Platform valutrades.com
Broker valutrades.com uses the most popular and popular MetaTrader platforms (versions 4 and 5). Their main features:
- Displays all basic chart types (bars, candlesticks, lines and their modifications).
- Up to 4 graphs in one window.
- 30+ technical indicators, 20+ analytics objects.
- Display control (one-click fast scrolling, scaling, color schemes for easier customization).
- Audio and Push notifications.
- Online chat for communication with traders.
- Multi-language and multi-platform (works on all types of devices: mobile, PC, tablets).
What makes MT5 different from the previous version is the greater number of timeframes (there are M2, M3, M6, M10, M12, M20, H2, H3, H6, H8, H12) and the ability to take positions in the “Market Watch” for the pairs already selected. But, in the opinion of many traders, it is inferior to it in performance and smooth operation.
It is also possible to trade via API, when you trade without launching the platform, through a widget embedded in any resource.
ValuTrades broker quotes
As already mentioned, Valutrades offers quotes on 50 currency pairs: EUR/USD, AUD/CHF, CAD/JPY, EUR/CHF, AUR/HUF, EUR/USD and others. That is, we are dealing with the most common trading assets. Taking into account the fact that the broker works with ECN (here we are talking about Forex), the quotes accuracy is unlikely to be questioned.
Valutrades Demo Account
Before investing financially in trading, you can evaluate the possibilities of the platform and hone your skills on the free MT4 terminal. A demo account opens with a balance of 10,000 virtual currency units (“doughnuts”), which you can use to open and close trades. (“doughnuts”), which you can use to open and close trades. There is no time limit for using the test terminal. Later on from the same account you can open a real (Forex) account. Interestingly, for the test-drive there are 11 currencies, in which the calculations will be made, and not 8, as in the case of the real account.
Currency Trade mobile app
Valutrades does not have its own mobile app – the broker uses MT4 software to work with narrow-format devices. The application is downloaded from Google Play Market (for Android) and App Store (for iOS). In order to work through the same account as with PC, you need to select the company’s server, Valutrades. The functionality is the same as on the desktop: placing orders, statistics, settings, online chat, notifications, etc.
Bonuses at Valutrades
From the bonuses. valutrades.com offers only participation in an affiliate program in the CPA format: you earn, not just by attracting new users to the site – paid for specific actions performed by them (in this case the balance). Percentage is not specified. Additional advertising materials (banners, teasers, etc.), automated reporting and affiliate discounts for services are provided.
Deposit and withdrawal
You can work with Valutrades by depositing as little as $1. However, you are responsible for compensating yourself for all commissions and fees you incur when making a transfer – the company does not cover them for you. Deposits can be made in the following ways:
- Bank transfer – domestic, international (UnionPay, Remessa).
- VISA and MasterCard cards.
- Advanced Corretora.
- Boleto.
- Skrill.
Neteller also becomes available for withdrawal. The terms of crediting depend on the payment agent – the broker does not stipulate them.
Complaints about ValuTrades
Most international traders praise the platform, noting the accurate execution of orders, good spreads, knowledgeable support and fast withdrawal via Skrill.
However, some users complain about high SWAPs and problems with waiting for payments.
On the whole, the reputation of the company is good.
Valutrades broker regulator
Valutrades Limited is registered in the United Kingdom (registration number 07939901) and is regulated by the FCA – Financial Conduct Authority. This is one of the most respected regulators on the market. So the broker acts officially. However, in accordance with the European anti-money laundering policy of 2017, the company is not registered, if we believe the information in the official register.
Valutrades.com User Agreement
The Valutrades User Agreement (Website Terms and Conditions) is a very comprehensive document. But it spells out the basic rights and responsibilities of the parties (the company and the user of its resources). Let’s take a look at some of the provisions. Thus, p. 9.1 notes that the information services provider cannot guarantee the accuracy, currency or completeness of the information published on its resources.
There are no guarantees of uninterrupted operation of the platform either. At any time, access to it may be restricted – in whole or in part. In this case, you will be notified in advance (clause 13.2).
Any information you upload must be accurate, truthful and in accordance with the UK legislation governing the broker (clause 15.1).
If you violate the terms of the agreement, the provider has the right at his discretion (clause 16):
- Close access to the site.
- Delete any downloaded materials.
- Send a warning.
- Initiate legal proceedings to demand compensation for losses incurred as a result of unauthorized actions on your part.
- To disclose information about you to law enforcement.
He is not responsible for your actions.
Is Valutrades a scam?
Valutrades – broker with a good reputation among Internet users, a serious licensing base and a fairly loyal user agreement: the document sets only the traditional requirements of market regulators, and there are no bonded requirements.
The trading conditions also testify to the desire to work with clients competently. This can be seen in the leverage, which is set at maximum 1:30 for beginners, which does not allow to “drain” the balance quickly. And the minimum deposit of 1 dollar. Obviously, the company is not trying to empty our purses quickly. And at the registration stage there is testing and mandatory personal verification, which is another “loop” of security. So Valutrades is not a scam, but a responsible and reliable provider.
Conclusion
After studying the trading conditions, reviews, registration documents and policies, we could not find the Valutrades practically no serious disadvantages. Except for a small number of currency pairs. However many, even experienced traders trade “popular” assets one way or another, because they are easier to forecast and have high liquidity. Therefore we would not attribute this feature of the broker to serious disadvantages.
But it offers a lot of opportunities: scalping, hedging, investing in PAMM, trading advisors, etc. Plus tight spreads, ECN-account, small leverage that can be increased by confirming professional status and fast withdrawal. Definitely this is one of the most interesting brokers we reviewed.
