How to register at iway.io

Before ordering a transfer, the client must register on the site. On the main page iway.io there is a corresponding button in the upper right corner. You need to click “Register” and fill out a short questionnaire, indicating:

• E-mail address. Information about booked trips and the status of orders are sent to it. You can also use the e-mail to restore access to your account if you forget your password.
• The client’s first and last name.
• Cell phone number.
• A strong password.

Just below in the questionnaire, you need to tick the box to agree to the rules of personal data processing. If the account is not opened by an individual, but by a representative of a company, you can select the type of cooperation on the right. For example, for travel agencies. Immediately after registration, an email confirming the creation of the account will be sent to the specified email address.

The personal cabinet is designed minimalistically. There are only two sections here: ordering a transfer and trips. In “Journeys” you can see the list of previously made orders. By the way, the “Drivers” section specifies the rules of work. They will be of interest to clients. For example, the employee is forbidden to talk on the phone while driving, and the music can be turned on only at the request of the passenger.

 

Mobile application

iWay has mobile applications for Android and iOS. They offer full functionality. Here you can order a transfer, track the driver’s movements on the map, and pay for the service. The applications have good ratings: in the App Store the program received 4.9 points out of five. In the Play Market, it scored 4.8 out of a possible five. From each site the application was downloaded more than ten thousand times.

 

 

How to buy a transfer on the iWay website

You can arrange a transfer through the official website iway.io and the app. Here we’ll look at the desktop version of the reservation, but in the app the procedure is the same. Therefore, there are no special differences.

How to book a transfer

To order a transfer, you need to log in to the official website, using your username and password. The system will immediately send the user to the “Order” section. A form will appear, with two fields in it:

• “From.” It is necessary to specify the airport where the passenger is departing from.
• “Where.” Enter the destination airport. Both fields have drop-down lists. Therefore, you do not need to know the official name of the airport. It is enough to enter a few letters and select from the list.

The form will prompt you to select the class of the car. Cars with different equipment, comfort, speed. Then move on to filling in the exact information. In the order you need to enter:

• Flight number.
• Terminal of arrival and terminal of departure.
• The date of arrival and departure, with the exact time.
• Enter information about the passengers: their number, names, cell phone number and e-mail address.

In the “Additional services” section, you must specify the inscription on the meeting driver’s sign. Below there is a box to enter a promo code and an empty field for notes. You should write there what you think is necessary. For example, to warn the driver that you have a pet, or bulky luggage. After filling out the form, click “Pay”.

 

How to buy cheap transfers at iway.io?

iWay offers customers promo codes. You can get the first one right after registering. Check the mailbox you specified when you opened your account. We received a promo code for a discount at 7%.

Transfer refunds

Users can cancel a transfer or change order parameters. To do this, you need to call the iWay hotline, at: 8-800-555-02-60. If there are more than 24 hours before the transfer time, money will be fully refunded. If the transfer is cancelled later than 24 hours in advance, the company keeps the money as a penalty. Let’s say the client has booked a transfer: the driver will wait for him at the airport terminal on the 3rd of May at 14:00. If the reservation is cancelled before 14:00 on May 2, the company returns the money. If later, say, May 2 at 18:00, such an order is considered fulfilled – there will be no refund.

Additional features of iway.io

By ordering online at iway.io, users can make notes and wishes on the order form. For example, if they are traveling with a pet, the driver will take care of a free place to accommodate transportation. If the client arrives with small children, a special child seat will be installed in the car. Additional services can be discussed with the manager. He will call the client to confirm the order, after the request on the website or in the application. There is a chat with the driver in the mobile app. Use it to warn the worker about the delay or if you want to clarify any questions.

 

 

Paying for and receiving transfers on iWay

iWay.io services are paid for online. Through the site and in the mobile application, with a bank card.

How do I pay for my transfer online?

After the user has filled in the order form, selected a car and booked a transfer, he can pay for it with a bank card. Visa and Mastercard are accepted for payment. A payment gateway will appear, in which you will need to specify the card number, the name of the holder, expiration date and a protective CVV-code, on the reverse side. By default, many bank cards have a limit on online payments. Sometimes they are completely blocked. You can check and change the settings in your bank’s mobile app or in the ATM menu.

 

IWA bonuses

Bonuses in iWay are awarded in the form of promo codes. You can then enter this code into the order form and the transfer will be cheaper. A promo code can be obtained:

Complaints about iWay

The company has been operating for more than ten years, since 2009. During this time, a lot of feedback has accumulated about the quality of iWay’s services. We have analyzed popular sites for customer comments. Most of the reviews are positive. The average rating received by iWay on the sites is four and a half stars out of five. Judging by the users’ comments, the strengths of the service:

• Coverage of many cities. iWay claims to operate in 600 airports worldwide.
• Quick responses from dispatchers and drivers.
• The choice of car class. From “economy” to “business”. You can also order a minibus.
• The drivers are well prepared. They are polite, help with luggage and know the city very well.
• You can order an English-speaking driver.

The main disadvantage is the high prices. Cabs are cheaper, even if you choose the transfer category “economy”. But note that regular customers can get a significant discount. We found a few complaints about the work of the application for Android. But this is an isolated negative, in most cases the mobile interface is evaluated well. There is also dissatisfaction because of the small payment options: transfer can only be paid by bank card, electronic wallets are not supported.

Iway.io User Agreement

iWay.io provides transfers on the basis of an agreement on the order of transportation services. It is offered on the page for ordering a transfer. By placing an order user automatically accepts this agreement. iWay Transfer Ltd. undertakes to organize the service, and the client undertakes to pay for it in full. The third section of the agreement says that you can order the service not later than 24 hours. That is, the car must be booked at least one day before arrival.

 

Also in the third section, we found information that the client gives irrevocable consent to receive advertising materials from iWay. At the same time, the line below says that the client has the right to withdraw consent to receive advertising. There is legal confusion and it is not clear whether the advertisement can be withdrawn. The document specifies the rules of luggage transportation. Standard sizes of items carried are given. Carriage of cargo with large dimensions must be agreed upon with the dispatcher separately. The sixth section states that the driver is obliged to wait for customers free of charge within twenty minutes of the declared time of arrival.

Site Security

There are no questions about the security of iway.io. A security certificate is connected to the domain. Logging into the personal account is only possible by password, and the password can only be restored through the email address linked to the account. The site does not store the client’s bank card data. Payment goes through a secure payment gateway.

We have studied the company’s history, media articles, legal information from public sources, and customer reviews. Our opinion: iWay.io is not a scam. It’s quite an honest business. iWay Transfer LLC is not involved in any litigation. The company is not burdened with debts and is not engaged in fraud and deception of customers.

 

Conclusion

Transfer services compete with cabs and lose out in price. But iWay can give more: a meeting at the terminal, a pre-planned itinerary, advance payment via the Internet, and luggage transportation. For the average tourist, this is not an everyday product, but rather a service of the premium segment. And the price is appropriate. But if the economy is not in the first place, it is more convenient to use the transfer. And the proposed bonuses, promo codes and promotions can reduce prices to affordable.
