How to trade on OKH?

Any type of trading or even just regular buying and selling of cryptoassets on crypto exchange require prior training. Like any major exchange, OKH (go online) has educational sections, both for those who have just started trading, and for experienced traders or investors.

The Academy

OKH’s educational information is concentrated in the “Academy” section, the entry button to which is placed in the center at the top of the exchange’s website. The first educational video in the section is called “How to buy cryptocurrency”, for Russian-speaking clients in Russian. On the left side of the video is a brief scheme of how to get started on the cryptocurrency exchange, but if the user is at the exchange for the first time, perhaps with the purchase of Cryptocurrencies it’s worth waiting and moving on to other training information.

 

The following instructional video is aimed at users who plan to engage in spot trading. To the left of the video is a brief description of the trading process and a button to go to the trading terminal. Spot is the traditional, most popular way to trade, which does not mean it is easy. The video is useful, but trading after watching only one video lesson is not recommended.

This is followed by an “Introduction to Futures” section with a video lesson on “What are futures”. Cryptocurrency futures are a relatively new digital asset. In fact, trading derivatives, that is, assets derived from cryptocurrencies, is easier than spot trading. But it has its own specifics and requires additional education and training. The fourth section “How to trade options”, here is also a video lesson and a brief scheme. Options are a simple but risky method of trading. Therefore, the video is only the most superficial introduction to the method, while advanced theory and practice is required for confident options trading.

Under the video tutorials section are the Beginner’s Materials. Of course, a beginner’s course is not limited to four materials. You have to click on the title of the section and go to a page with a lot of rather detailed text instructions. They are arranged haphazardly, the user will have to spend some time to find lessons that explain the first steps on cryptocurrency, because there are not many such videos. Most of the materials are still designed for more advanced audience.

The “Training Ideas” page, which can be accessed from “Academy” or “Materials for Beginners”. Most of the information loaded here requires understanding the specifics of cryptoassets, understanding the crypto market, but you can also find valuable information about investing methods, trading of any type, important news and updates. Next is the Market Analysis page, which is useful and even necessary for those who are already actually trading.

The analytics presented in the section are irrelevant at the time of trading. It is necessary to study this information in order to understand the methods of market analysis, what factors should be taken into account when predicting the market and the value of individual crypto-assets. Subsequently, this knowledge can be used for your own market analysis. This page also contains useful information about projects, both related to OKH Crypto Exchange and third-party ones.

“Glossary of Blockchain Terms” is probably the most useful educational project at the OKC “Academy”. Here, the basic concepts of the crypto market and crypto-trading are presented in a concise and understandable form. There is information on technical features of blockchain, but if a user is registered on an exchange for the purpose of making money, the priority should be given to materials of a trader’s orientation.

Demo access

Working in demo mode is a necessary element of learning how to trade cryptocurrencies. You can switch to a demo account using the button in the far left upper corner of the exchange website. To switch to a real account, you need to find the “Assets – Trade on demo account” function at the top left and select “Switch to real money” in the drop-down menu. In the demo mode, the function “Trading”, which is located next to the designation “Demo Account” in the drop-down menu activates two types of trading: “Basic Trading” and “Margin Trading”.

The notional amount for training in demo mode is $10 billion, in tokens USDT and additionally a number of cryptocurrencies. By the way, for the successful completion of tasks during the training, the user receives real satoshi as a reward. The trading terminal in demo mode and for “Basic” trading, which include spot and basic options, and for “Margin” does not differ from real accounts.

That’s why they allow practically any strategy to be trained. It is not recommended to exceed the amount of conditional assets, because prize satoshis will be written off. It is possible to start training in a demo terminal after receiving the basic information, because trading is, first of all, practice. You should practice till you fully understand the process of trading and get a stable profit. But even after that it is necessary to pass to trade real money with great care.
