How do I recharge my OKX account with a bank card?

So on this page you need to switch to the “Trading account” tab, select the “Buy” button and go to the buying service. Or you can click on the “Buy Cryptocurrency” button at the top of the OKX homepage. By default, the user is taken to the “Express” page with the service buying/selling crypto. On the left side of the page there is a short instruction, on the right side there is the service itself. In the “Buy” tab you need to select the currency for which you will buy the crypto-asset. Buying in rubles is still available. Under the line with the currency designation the allowable transaction limit is indicated.

After selecting the currency, you need to write the amount to be spent. Under this line there is a line where you select the crypto to be purchased. The service automatically calculates how much amount of crypto-assets can be purchased with the money specified in the top line. Selection payment system depends on the currency for which the crypto is purchased. For example, in the list of possible payment options in rubles: Tinkoff, Sberbank and there is still Yandex.Money, a payment system now called YuMoney. All of these options are shown as the most profitable.

If you click the “Buy” button, a page will open with a list of all available methods of crediting. Funds from the card do not go directly, but through payment systems, such as Mercuryo. Selecting “Visa, Mastercard, MIR”, the payment system and clicking “Buy”, the user goes to the payment system’s website and follows the instructions. When processing a transaction payment systems require personal information, in particular the full name, cell phone, sometimes passport data. Withdrawal of money from the card will also need to confirm the code, which is sent by the card-issuing bank.

Buying and depositing purchased crypto takes up to half an hour. If the transaction is obviously delayed, you need to contact OKX support. But, as a rule, if any problems arise, it is from the payment systems, then you need to contact them. Please be aware that OKX will not be liable for any third-party payment system transactions. In the desktop application the algorithm of buying cryptocurrencies is exactly the same as in the browser.

Mobile application

In the app, the “Buy cryptocurrency” option is located on the main page on the left. By clicking on it, from the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen, you will need to select the “Express” section. In the application, the choice of payment currency is made in the drop-down menu, at the top, on the right side of the page, and the choice of cryptocurrency to buy is a bit lower. There is a search bar in the menu, it is better to search through it, as there are a lot of assets in the list. In the center of the service number “0”, you need to click on it to deposit the required amount. After that, you need to click “Buy”. If the account is registered and confirmed, then at this stage the user proceeds to the page of choosing the payment system. If not, the exchange will offer to add an email address to increase the level of security.

Then you select the payment method by bank card, the payment system, go to the payment system website, enter the necessary information and conduct the transaction. After replenishing the deposit, the user has two options for further action: either leave the crypto on the account at the exchange, or withdraw it to a third-party wallet. It is advisable to store coins on the exchange, if it is expected to trade immediately. Cryptoassets used as investments are better stored on a third-party wallet, so they will be safer.
