Crypto Exchange EXMO offers several ways to deposit funds. You can deposit funds through the web version of the platform and the company’s mobile app. All methods that can be used to deposit funds are available on the site exmo.me in the “Wallet” section. For different methods, the user must go through different levels of account verification. For example, to use a bank card you need to verify the card and address. For payment systems it is enough to be a registered user.

In order to make a deposit, you need to choose the currency of interest (crypto or fiat) and click on “Deposit”. A window will open with a list of all methods and commissions for a particular asset. Having chosen one of the methods, the user crypto exchanges can read the minimum and maximum for the deposit and fees for the selected system.

Additions to the app

After creating an account in the Exmo app, you can top up your account. The methods available for this are listed in the “Wallet” tab. It is necessary to pass different types of verification. To make a deposit in fiat or cryptocurrencyclick on “Enter” and select the method of depositing. To transfer fiat, the following methods are available:

After choosing a method, they fill out a form and go to the payment system’s website to make a transaction. The deposit is credited to the account within an hour. When making a deposit in cryptocurrency, select “Deposit” near the asset. A new window will show the minimum, commission and QR for crediting. To deposit, scan the code or copy the address to which the money is transferred. Crediting is possible within 60 minutes. This period depends on the number of confirmations in the network.

Timing of replenishment

Replenishment on EXMO is in automatic mode. It takes from 1 to 60 minutes (sometimes longer). Deposits via bank wire transfer are credited within up to 7 business days. Crediting of coins on the balance depends on confirmations in the network. Such amount of them is necessary:

• 1 for XLM, PTI and XPR.
• 4 for LTC and DOGE.
• 6 for BTC, ETH and USDT.
• 50 online BTG.
• 60 for ETZ.
• 500 online ETC.

Limits

The minimum that can be deposited to EXMO account depends on the cryptocurrency. In the “Wallet” section of the account, a user can read the limits for different assets. For example, for Bitcoin, the minimum amount is 0.002, Litecoin – 0.001, Ethereum – 0.01. Fiat also has its own limits. They depend on the method that will be used to deposit funds into the balance.

Disabling replenishment methods

In some cases, it is possible to disable replenishment using payment providers. This happens for several reasons:

• Gateway operation in automatic mode with shutdown for network offloading.
• Technical work of the provider to stabilize the work.

If any of the methods of deposit is not in the “Wallet” section, it means that it is impossible to make a deposit. You have to wait for its automatic activation or use another method.

EXMO Gift Card

EXMO Gift card is a tool for exchanging cryptocurrency or fiat currency between exchange users. It is a set of 57 characters, which makes it impossible to match the code. When a card is created, an amount is reserved in the account for processing. It is later transferred to another trader, the recipient of the card, when the card is activated. What the card is used for:

• Transferring funds to another trader on the balance of the exchange or creating a card for a gift.
• Using payment methods that are not available on the platform, but are offered on cryptocurrency exchange services.
• Withdrawal of funds through the exchange service in currencies that are not on EXMO.

To generate a card, you can use assets that are traded on the site. These are 50+ cryptocurrencies and 7 fiat currencies: euros, hryvnias, dollars, Polish zloty, rubles, pounds sterling, tenge. There are no fees when forming an instrument with digital assets. In the case of fiat, there are fees:

• 0.2% when forming 1-2 cards within 24 hours.
• 0.6% when creating the 3rd and subsequent cards in the same currency during the day.
• 0% when crediting money from the card to the Exmo account when activating the Gift Card on the platform.

For fiat, there are also limits on the maximum to create one card. This is the equivalent of 20 thousand U.S. dollars. To create a Card, you should log in, go to “Wallet” section, choose the currency for which the card will be generated for withdrawal in the next window. In the field with the withdrawal amount you must specify the number of coins. An email will come with a confirmation of the withdrawal. You can follow the link and copy the character set and send it to the user. Also a message with the code will come to the user’s e-mail.

If the name of a certain user is specified in the “Login recipient” line when generating the code, a named card will be generated. Such a code can be activated by the trader or the person to whom it is addressed. Another person trying to withdraw money from such a code will receive a refusal and a notice that it was prepared for a user with a different name. When you get an EXMO card or buy one, you can top up your account for free and instantly. To do this, you need:

• Select a currency in the “Wallet” tab and click “Replenish”.
• Select “Gift Card”.
• In the field that opens, enter the code, click on “Download” and follow the link from the letter that will come in the mail. The money will be credited within 30 seconds.

The card can be used not only in the full version of the exchange site, but also in the mobile application. To do this, you need:

• Open the program on your mobile device and enter the PIN code for authorization.
• Go to the Wallet.
• In the field for the code, enter a set of characters, click on “Download” and follow the link from the letter.
• To create a card, select the currency, enter the amount. The service will display the fee and the total amount ready to receive.
• To download a map, enter it in the field that appears and click “Download”.
• Confirm the withdrawal or deposit by clicking on “OK” and following the link in the mail message.

Commissions

There are no fees for cryptocurrency deposits on EXMO. Deposit fees in US dollars are 2.99% when paying with Visa/MasterCard, 2.49% from Payeer wallet. EUR 30 will be charged for replenishment in euro via EMBank UAB SWIFT. When paying in tenge through AdvCash system the commission is 0.99% from the amount.
