Windows app

The interface of the desktop application differs from the browser version in the structure of elements. In addition, the front page has fewer options, the desktop platform is more focused on trading without distracting from additional services. The main page has a ticker of cryptocurrency prices and a table of market trends. In the left console, the “Markets” button takes the user to a page where he can select spot, futures and other markets to trade. The information is presented in the form of a table, with the trading pair on the left side and prices, changes, capitalization and other parameters on the right.

The “Trade” button opens the trading terminal. The market depth is located on the right, and the history of transactions is below it. The buy/sell service of assets is also on the right. The desktop does not have a separate table to search for trading pairs in the trading terminal. But the desired cryptocurrency can be selected in the upper left part of the trading terminal, there are currency pair designations in the drop-down menu. The “Buy” button in the right console allows you to go to the service of direct purchase of currencies through P2P Binance.

It is also possible to go to the service of buying cryptocurrencies with a bank card, via payment systems through a fiat account on Binance. The “Futures” button, respectively, opens the cryptocurrency derivatives trading terminal, which is structured like a spot terminal. The “Margin” icon transfers the client to a margin trading account.

The order of actions is the same as on the website: first, the information window is loaded, which explains how to start trading, then it is proposed to watch a training video and take a test. It should be noted that the desktop platform can be slower than the browser platform. In addition, when switching from the browser version to the desktop one, it will take some time to adapt to it.

Mobile application

Binance application for smartphone can be downloaded from Google Play, in the search box you need to type the name of the exchange, it is quite a popular application, it will be the first in the output. The mobile platform launches after installation after selecting the country of registration of the trader.

Then you will need to either start the registration process, or log in with a username and password. Registration is standard: you will need to enter your email or phone number, create a password, and confirm it with a code. If you have a username and password, you will need to confirm the transition to the new device with the code sent to your email. The confirmation signal will also come to the account on the site.

The app opens in the “Lite” version by default, for beginners. The main page on the mobile platform is “Markets”, you can immediately search and select the desired trading pair. But if the user is a first-time registrant, in the ticker at the top you can find the “Beginner’s Guide”. It is, of course, recommended to study it carefully, it describes the key operations of the exchange.

On the “Markets” page, at the bottom, in the center, are buttons “Buy cryptocurrency for fiat”, and on the right “Buy first crypto assets”. Both buttons move to the buy and enter cryptocurrency service. In the upper left corner is an icon that activates the customer profile. The profile page contains configuration options, and you can also switch to a PRO-level account, which provides more opportunities for trading.

To activate the trading terminal for a particular trading pair, you need to click on the desired cryptocurrency in your PRO account. The traded trading pair is indicated in the top center, the trading chart is placed in the center of the terminal. The price, price changes, volumes are indicated above the chart. A set of indicators and oscillators is located directly below the volume chart on the chart. The order book occupies the “basement” of the application.
