WhiteBIT: how do I make a deposit?

To top up your account WhiteBIT, the user must register on the platform site whitebit.com. After logging in, he will be able to go to the total balance page, which allows him to make deposits. After depositing the account, the assets are credited to the main balance. To start trading, you can transfer them to a trading or margin account.

• Using memos for individual currencies. They are specified in the “Your memo” field on the deposit page. Filling this line by the sender is a prerequisite for crediting funds.

Each transaction requires a certain number of confirmations, after which the funds will be credited to the account. • Account GeoPay – for hryvnia;
• Visa/Mastercard – for UAH.

Each asset must be topped up separately in the “Total Balance” section. There is a special button for this near the line with the name of the asset. In order to top up your account, you need to do the following:

• Log in and click on the “Balance” button at the top.
• Select a spot account and find the currency.
• Click the “Replenish” button and select a payment system through which funds will be transferred.
• Enter the amount to be deposited and click on “Request”. The service will automatically redirect to the page of the selected deposit system. Money is credited within a few minutes and does not need to be confirmed by the network.

Limits

There are no limits on the maximum for deposits. There are minimum amounts available for deposits. You can find them out in the “Commissions” section of WhiteBIT’s website. The page has a list of all cryptocurrencies with the minimum amount that can be deposited into a wallet. For example, for Bitcoin, this amount is 0.0005 BTC. For fiat, there are also minimum amounts to deposit. For dollars and euros the minimum is 10 USD and EUR respectively. For hryvnia this amount is 50 UAH.

Number of network confirmations

The confirmation process is necessary to prevent additional spending of the same amounts. When the sender transfers assets, the transaction goes to the network for inclusion in the block. The process of adding to the block structure is called transaction confirmation. One block = one confirmation. When a transaction accumulates enough confirmations, it becomes successful and funds are credited to the balance.

The speed of confirmation depends on various factors, including network load, the amount of commission, and the speed of your Internet connection. As a rule, confirmation takes from half an hour to several hours. If the network is overloaded, the transaction may take up to several days. The number of confirmations required for crediting is set by the platform for each cryptocurrency. WhiteBIT has set its own number of confirmations needed to credit a deposit to the platform’s balance. They are displayed in the table on the “FAQ” page in the “Network Confirmation Count” section.

Commissions

Most cryptocurrencies can be deposited without fees. There are some coins that are subject to deposit fees. You can find out about them on the “Fees” page of the exchange’s website. Fiat deposit fees depend on the payment system through which the transaction is made. For AdvCash they are 1,5% (minimum – 0,15 EUR or USD, 0,75 UAH, maximum – 150 EUR or USD, 750 UAH). At the replenishment through NixMoney it is charged 1%, from 0,1 to 100 EUR or USD. A commission of 5 UAH + 0.8% (minimum – 0.4, maximum – 800 UAH) is provided for the deposit through the account GeoPay in UAH. The user will pay 0.7% from the amount deposited from Visa/Mastercard in UAH, but not less than 0.35 and not more than 206.5 UAH.

WhiteBIT’s branded crypto exchange app has a “Wallet” section. There you can find the desired cryptocurrency and a top-up button. In the new form, you need to copy the address to use it to transfer money to WhiteBIT balance.

Deposit from Visa/Mastercard is possible only in fiat – Ukrainian hryvnia. For such operations it is necessary to verify your account. To do this, you need to go to the “Total Balance” section on the WhiteBIT website. The button for deposit is near the name of currency. To make a deposit, you need to do the following:

• Log in to your personal cabinet and click on “Balance”.
• Select a common and find a hryvnia.
• Click on “Replenish” and select a card.
• Enter the amount to deposit, click on “Request” and in the window that opens, specify the requested data. Crediting is done in a few minutes and does not require network confirmation.

When depositing WhiteBIT with Visa or Mastercard the user is charged a commission of 0.7% of the deposit amount, but not less than 0.35 and not more than 206.5 UAH.
