RoboForex: Verification


Users who want to work with RoboForex. The customer must not only register an account, but also undergo a verification procedure. This is a documentary confirmation of the client’s personal information. Verification takes no more than 2 days. After verification, the client has several options: Rebates, Tradable Protection up to 70% for the first replenishment, access to VPS-server, etc.

To undergo the procedure, it is necessary to confirm your identity, providing a passport and your place of residence. To start working with RoboForex (go online) bank card and phone verification is not required, but these data may be needed for transactions with accounts.

Passport check

For verification, you can use a passport (2 pages and photo), a national ID card or a residence permit. There is a special form in the personal office, where you must enter personal data and attach a copy of the document using a scanner, photo camera, webcam.

The photo must clearly show your name, portrait, document number and issuing authority, the dates when it was issued and when it will expire. Documents that expire 3 months after the date the application is sent will not be accepted. It is possible to attach up to 4 pictures. They can be in black and white or color.

Verification can be done not only through a personal account, but also from a cell phone. To do this, you need to take a picture of the spread of your passport with the photo on your smartphone, open the picture and select “Share – Mail”. In the subject line of the letter, specify “Passport verification. In the message write your full name, passport data, the issuing authority, date of issue and the e-mail used for registration at RoboForex. The letter should be sent to [email protected]. When the request is processed you will receive a message with the results of verification. After the verification is completed, the status in your personal profile on the company website will change to “Verified”.

Address verification

To confirm your address or actual place of residence, you can provide one of these documents (it must be issued no later than 6 months ago):

  • Act of ownership of real estate.
  • Mortgage.
  • Rental Housing Agreement.
  • A utility bill. They can be written out in the name of the spouse, but in this case you must also provide a certificate of marriage.
  • Letters from managing bodies of housing and communal services.
  • A statement from a valid account or bank card.

The document must be signed and stamped by the issuing authority (for receipts for housing and utilities services a barcode will suffice) or printed on letterhead. No more than 2 files can be attached to the application.

You can go through the verification in your personal account by filling out a special form, or via your smartphone. To do this, take a photo of the document and select “Share – Mail”. In the subject of the letter, specify “Confirmation of Address”, and in the field name, title of the document and your address. The letter should be sent to the e-mail: [email protected]. After verification the result of the check will be sent to the same email.

SMS verification

This verification helps confirm your cell phone number. After verification, one or more services are enabled to increase the security of personal data or balance. Available services:

  • Sending an SMS with a code to confirm an operation for transfer or withdrawal of funds.
  • Sending an authorization message to the site.
  • Confirm authorization with a one-time code sent via SMS.
  • To get your phone number verified, you have to:
  • Log in to your personal cabinet and select the “SMS confirmation” section in your profile.
  • Enter the phone number and click “Confirm”.
  • Enter the code received in the message.
  • After passing the check, you can connect one of the services by ticking them.
  • Enter another code that comes in the message.
  • Bank card verification

In order to withdraw funds to a bank card, its verification may be required. This measure was introduced in order to provide additional safety of money on the trading account and to prevent fraud. To pass the verification, you have to upload the images of the front and back side of the card in your personal cabinet. To do this you can use a scanner, a camera, a phone or a webcam. On the front side you can hide all the numbers between the first 6 and the last 4. On the back side you can hide the CVV/CVC code.

Rejection of application

If the application takes more than 2 days to process, there could be several reasons. The problem may be that the document images were uploaded incorrectly when they were sent for verification. Because of this, the specialist of the company may not receive them. In such a case, you need to check the submission form. If the status of the request has changed to “Awaiting verification”, you can try sending the documents again. The application may also be rejected by e-mail. It is necessary to check the mail, including the spam folder. If the problem persists, you should write to the support service.
