Security

In order for Coinsbit customers to be confident in the security of their personal data and assets, the exchange offers to enable two-factor authentication (2FA). This feature is an additional measure that gives you the ability to secure access to your account. When logging in you must enter not only a password, but also an authentication code of 6 characters. It is generated in a special application every 30 seconds.

To enable the feature, you must use one of the apps, such as Google Authenticator. It can be downloaded from the brand app stores for iOS and Android mobile devices. The following steps are as follows:

1. Go to “Settings” under the “Security” tab.
2. Scan the QR code in the program on your mobile device or enter the number.
3. After adding the exchange tab to the authenticator, enter the code.

If a user loses the code or key for 2FA, he can contact the Coinsbit support team. The administration of the exchange must provide the data used in KYC verification, the login under which the account was registered, and information on recent deposits and withdrawals.
