Bybit Applications

Android OS

If the user does not have a registered account at Bybit and wants to trade from a mobile app, he needs to open the stock exchange website bybit.com and in the upper right corner of the page find the smartphone icon. If you hover your cursor over this icon, a QR code will open. The same code is placed at the bottom of the left navigation console.

To download the application it is necessary to point the smartphone scanner to the QR-code of the exchange. The user will be prompted to download the application immediately “Download App” or go to Google Play. Clicking on Download App will start downloading the .apk file. Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to install the application. The download process itself will take a few minutes, you need to wait until it is complete. When the download is complete, the service will prompt to register. For example, in the form of an announcement “Pick up rewards for registration.

By clicking on this ad, you can start registration on the platform, via email or cell phone number. You can download the application via QR-code on the website of the crypto exchange on your smartphone, at the bottom of the left navigation console is the button “App”. The procedure is the same as when downloading through the browser site. The Bybit app can be found on Google Play. The required version is Android 5.0 or higher. You can go to the service Google Play after scanning the QR-code. Downloading the application starts after clicking on the “Install” button.

Apple Devices

The Bybit crypto-exchange app is also available on the App Store. To work correctly, the platform requires an iPhone or Ipod Touch iOS 12.0 or newer, when working on a computer you will need OP macOS 11.0 or later or Mac with an Apple M1 chip.

The algorithm for downloading and activating the application is standard. By the way, Bybit offers widgets to be placed on the screens of iPhones. What these widgets are, and how to download and place them, you can find out at this link. Users of Apple devices who have upgraded to iOS 15 may lose their Google Authenticator keys, which can disrupt their Bybit login. If your device hasn’t updated to iOS 15, Bybit doesn’t recommend doing so yet, pending a special notification. For those who have already updated, the exchange recommends not deleting duplicate Google 2FA codes.

After downloading and activating the applications, you need to register. To start registration, an email or cell phone number is entered and a password is generated. Next, the user notes that he is not a resident of the country banned on the exchange. The code is sent to your phone or email and you need to enter it in the appropriate form. There is no need to wait, the code is valid for 5 minutes. After that, you need to follow the instructions, which are different for beginners and experienced traders. By the way, just in case, you should check your mail again, because a new client may be offered a welcome gift.

Application Activation

If the user is already registered on Bybit, after downloading and activating the application he enters his account in the same way as in the browser. Immediately after launching the application, to enter the exchange, you need to click on the account icon in the far left upper corner of the application page. After entering the email (phone number), you will need to pass the captcha (combine the puzzle), if everything is correct, but there are no cryptocurrencies on the account yet, the client will be offered to buy cryptocurrency.

By clicking on the corresponding ad, the user is taken to the purchase page. Here the client can first watch a video on how to buy a cryptocurrency and proceed with the transaction. A customer who is on the exchange for the first time may be offered a bonus for buying cryptocurrencies.

If there are cryptocurrencies in the account, then right after logging in the client gets to perpetual USDT page, as Bybit is mostly crypto derivative exchange. Switching to other pages is done by icons at the bottom of the page. The next time the client logs in to the app, they will be prompted to change their security information – change their password, add a new phone number, set up a Google Authenticator, enable combo locking.

Application functionality

The Bybit mobile app looks a little different than the browser version, as it is a more concise, condensed form of the exchange. The home page in the app is identical to the “Markets” page in the browser. If you click on the selected pair, the client enters the trading service with a chart and all the necessary parameters and can place orders. If a chart is not needed for derivative trading, click the “Contract” button and click “Trade” in the new page. For spot trading, it is sufficient to click the “Spot” button. And the “Assets” button shows the status of the client’s deposit.
