I rented a car for a month through Economybookings and received a voucher with the documents required to collect the car. at the Alamo branch at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. These documents included my credit card, my driver’s license, and the voucher.
However, when I arrived at the Alamo rental agency, I was informed that an additional item was required, namely the boarding pass, was required. This requirement had never been mentioned at the time of the initial booking, and since I didn’t have this document, the agency refused to give me the car and cancelled my booking. The agency assured me that no charge would be made.
The problem is that the Economybookings debited the full rental amount of 1,096 euros. I sent several e-mails, but received no reply. so far.
