We are very sorry for the delay of your reservation. Our providers have a grace period of up to 1 hour, after which the reservation will be cancelled. This information was written in the rental conditions before finalizing the reservation and later also on the voucher. You paid the total amount of the rental on our website and we take a small commission and send the balance to the local agency, but I see in our system that our special refund service was able to refund 1773,84 EUR to your card, z This is very special case. I booked a car with DiscoverCars several months before the start of my trip. The rental period of the car was 57 days (total cost: 2236,22 €). I was unfortunately late on the day of the car pickup (about 8 hours). The car rental company tried to call me. Unfortunately, this was not possible because I was on a plane. This would result in my entire booking being cancelled by the car rental company. DiscoverCars is reluctant to refund the entire amount of €2236.22 to me and retains the cancellation fee of €462.38. I never had the intention to cancel the booking, so I have no understanding that DiscoverCars wants to keep the cancellation fee. Furthermore, DiscoverCars has not incurred any monetary losses.
