It works but don’t expect magic

I bought a portable mini fridge from Temu after seeing it pop up in the home section. I was looking for something small to keep drinks and snacks cool in my home office, and this seemed like a good option. When it arrived, I was honestly not too impressed with the look — kind of plain and plasticky — but once I plugged it in, I was pleasantly surprised. It actually works! Not freezer-level cold, but definitely enough to chill things down and keep them fresh throughout the day. The noise level is low, which is a big plus since I work from home most days. One thing I noticed is that it does generate some heat on the back, so you can’t push it right against the wall. Also, the temperature control is pretty basic — more like “cool” or “not as cool.” The door doesn’t seal perfectly either, so if you open it too often, the inside warms up faster than expected. Still, considering where I put it and what I use it for, it’s doing its job well. I didn’t expect much at this price point, and while it’s not perfect, it’s definitely good enough. If you’re looking for a compact fridge just to keep your drinks cool without spending a lot, this might be worth trying.
