After several orders on iHerb, I asked myself another important question: How safe is it to use my address, phone number, and bank details on this site?

I used my Visa bank card to pay for my iHerb orders. The site uses the SSL protocol, all data is encrypted. At the moment of payment, the system redirected me to the bank’s page for two-factor authentication (3D Secure).

After payment, I received an email with order confirmation and details. There were no suspicious charges to my account.

The shipping cost was $12.95. But if I had ordered an amount of $20 or more, it would have been free. I also paid a mandatory customs duty of around $4.

In the end, the parcel arrived safely and undamaged on June 4, 2025 — even ahead of schedule. The tracking number for tracking the delivery status worked perfectly, I could check each stage, see where the parcel is and do not worry unnecessarily.

Receiving the Parcel: Packaging and Condition of the Goods

When receiving the goods, I took a picture of the unpacking just in case. I was afraid that there might be problems, but even here everything went fine:

• All the goods were carefully packed in bubble wrap
• The bottles with oils and capsules did not leak

Communicating with Customer Support: Live Chat and Email

When I placed my next order, I had a question about the delivery time of one of the products. I used live chat on the site — the answer came in 2 minutes. The specialist helped me to change one of the order items before shipment.

I also wrote to the support team about returning one item — the answer came within 24 hours. The return was simple as well: I had to fill out a form and send the item back. And there were no difficulties here either — the whole process is excellent.

Price Analysis and Comparison with Competitors

After I got used to the site and started making regular orders, I had another important question: how competitive are iHerb’s prices compared to other American online stores and large chains like Walmart?

I decided to do a little research and compare the prices of a few popular items on iHerb, Amazon, Walmart and drugstores like Walgreens and CVS.
