I booked a car on EconomyBookings for 6 days in Turkey (Marmaris) from September 12 to 18, 2021. I have chosen a Fiat Egea from Nissa car rental. The cost was 201 euros. it turns out 33.5 euros per day. Not expensive! (In Crete and Cyprus, I paid 35 euros a day). Out of that 24,66 euros I prepaid for EconomyBookings and in the voucher was 176.34 EUR. I had to pay this amount when I received the car. This is what happened when I I paid at the hotel. The hotel is a great place to stay, but I had to pay 7 euros extra to the turk, who brought the car to the hotel. I will tell you in order. The day before the deadline, I I went to the Nissa car rental office (I found on Google maps where they are in Marmaris). But coming to the place there was a shop selling furniture. Negotiated with The owner told me in a mixture of Turkish, English, and gestures that they closed and moved. Where to – I did not understand. I went to the exchange office and the Russian-speaking The girl called the Turkish boss and explained my problem to him. He sat down at his computer and three minutes later gave me a phone number linked to Votsap, where I was in the hotel and I had to go to the hotel. When I got to the hotel I talked to a girl (she spoke pretty good Russian) and she solved all the problems. Even when her work day was over I was texting her on Whatsapp and she gave me detailed instructions. She offered to drive the car to the hotel, and I I took a long time to find out how much it would cost. Finally found out that it was only 7 euros. On September 12 at 10:00 a.m. a young Turkish man was waiting for me at the front desk.

The Worst!
Beware if you need a Refund. Lost $500! Lured in by misleading propaganda. Like "cancel anytime before ..." Made 8 bookings, then AFTER the booking they tell you insurance coverage does not apply to US or Canadian Citizens. In requesting a cancellation, they give you credit on a wallet... Read more
