Great customer service at the last minute with a booking issue
With less than 48 hours to pick-up I made a new booking in Olbia. Within minutes I reaslied in the conditions that my CC did not have the 6 months validity required by the rental provider for the security deposit.
I called them directly but they said that it was mandatory.
I was in a panic as I was leaving home the next day and with pick-up in less than 24 hours. It was impossible to get resolution via ‘modify my booking’ or the AI chap facility due to the short time frame. I sent an email asking for urgent help and a number to call and speak to sombody, as there was no phone number on the main site.
I received a very helpful mail and number. I called and the agent, Annie, was outstanding in explaining the options and finding another provider who only required 1 month of CC validity. Annie changed the booking immediately and I received the new voucher. Annie was quick, very professional, explained all the options and actions and the problem was resolved. 5 star service. I’ll definitely use Discovercars as my broker in the future.
