I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Locauto at Catania Airport, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!
The entire process was incredibly smooth. Check-in at their in-terminal airport desk took a mere 5 minutes. Both the counter staff and the vehicle delivery team were exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional. Best of all, they did not block a single Euro as a security deposit on my card, which made the experience completely stress-free.
When I returned the almost-new Audi Q2, the check-in agent completed the incoming inspection in just 1 minute. There was a tiny parking scratch on the bumper from parallel parking in Giardini Naxos. Instead of panicking or trying to overcharge me on the spot, the agent was completely calm and polite. He told me not to worry and gracefully explained the exact documentation process so I could easily claim it back through my broker’s insurance.
Coming from Switzerland, I expected an minor scratch to cost a fortune, but Locauto was completely honest and transparent, charging a very fair €130. This company represents the absolute gold standard of car rentals in Italy. I will definitely book with Locauto again!

I booked with Locauto via Discovercars portal. This was in Catania (Sicily, Italy). About Locauto: Fantastic experience! In-terminal check-in took 5 minutes with polite staff and zero blocked deposit. I returned the Audi Q2 with a tiny scratch from Giardini Naxos. The agent checked it in 1 minute, politely explained that scratches under 5cm aren't even counted as damage and walked me through the DiscoverCars Full Coverage process for the rest. They were transparent and charged a very fair €130. Honest, fast and professional !

i rented a car in august 2023.my security deposit was taken and to this day, two and a half months later, i still haven't been credited.discover cars is not giving me any clear answers!!!!

Hicimos una reserva en Mayo en DISCOVERCARS para coger coche en Bérgamo y usarlo durante 9 días, para dejarlo en Venecia, del 14 al 23 de Agosto.
