History with United Traders

The story began on November 2, 2019 when I logged into my personal account on the United Traders website. Where I found someone else’s data in my personal account and that 9606 tokens equivalent to 3100 dollars were withdrawn from the site. These tokens were stored from 2017 when UT had an ICO. When I started trying to log in from another device, I could no longer authorize on the site. I started to write to the support service, but on weekends the support service does not work. I would like to remind you that the withdrawal was initiated by an unauthorized person on Friday night knowing that no one works in the office on weekends.

On Monday, when the support staff came to their workplaces, they started to do their business as an unsubscribe, saying that it is your fault from our system you can not withdraw money without confirmation, which come to the mail. They don’t think how attackers got my data, they don’t think that it is possible to intercept requests and they are 100% sure that their system is in working condition. Although there are doubts, which I will talk about below.

I want to replace that to my mail there is access only from authorized devices ip addresses and if there is access from unfamiliar devices gmail notifies me about it, also looked through the log of connections and there were no suspicious connections from foreign addresses. I am not ruling out fault on my part, but I will argue that there are problems on the United Traders side and leaked user information. And the fact that the support staff leaked my address and did not bother to look into it suggests that there are problems. And most importantly their site does nothing to protect its users he unauthorized access and withdrawal of funds, except for 2fa, but a person may not have an iphone or other smartphone.
