The broker is normal, if you know how to trade and have a head on your shoulders, you can earn, and stably. I was convinced of that more than once when I was watching my students trading. They either can’t deal with their emotions or can’t understand the basics. The question is whether trading is a given or a non-given.

Technical support leaves much to be desired
I'm not saying that my experience with Tickmill was great. The conditions seemed good - low spreads and the ability to trade with leverage up to 1000:1 - but in reality, things were not so smooth.
