Frustrating hiccups overshadow good deals
I wanted to love Keycense. Their prices on Steam and Epic Games Store keys are unbeatable — $30 saved on a bundle of indie titles but technical glitches turned excitement into exhaustion. During checkout for a Ubisoft game, the payment portal froze midway, forcing me to restart the process. Once completed, the key arrived in 10 minutes… only to fail validation because it was already revoked. Support blamed Ubisoft’s servers, but reissued codes expired twice before working.
Even promotions backfired. I signed up for their newsletter expecting discounts, but ended up locked out of my account after entering incorrect passwords repeatedly during registration. Resetting it triggered CAPTCHA loops and a 12-hour verification delay. At one point, a support rep claimed I’d “used a stolen email” — a baseless accusation that killed my trust. Keycense’s backend issues and defensive staff make every purchase feel like a gamble. Bargain hunters might stick around, but I’m done risking my time here.
