    Standard account type is doing the job

    I was impressed and curious about the zero-spread account types. I give it a chance and indeed they work. However, I made a beginner’s mistake and didn’t do my due diligence about the commission involved. After two weeks of trading, I realised that my trading strategy didn’t need a zero-spread account type for which I was paying a hefty fee. So, I switched to the Live floating spreads accounts without additional trading fees except for the spread.
    Long story short, the zero spread accounts are only suitable for certain trading strategies, most likely for scalpers. If you are not a scalper, you don’t need it.

    Minuses
    • The trading fees on certain accounts are pretty high, particularly on the zero-spread account types, so do the maths carefully before making a decision if it aligns with your trading strategy.
