The only drawback that I noticed is that during periods of increased trading activity, the platform can become sluggish. Personally, I classify the service as working and efficient.
Deribit for me is the best platform for trading cryptocurrency options. The best, but not optimal. The main complaint is the confusing calculations. For example, the calculations on BTC/USD options are not in the quote currency (dollars), but in the underlying asset (bitcoins). Because of this, the essence of the option seems unclear to many people, and the assessment of profit and risk becomes more complicated.

I started trading on Deribit when the exchange worked without KYC at all. Then they asked for a name and I provided it. And then – at the end of 2020 – the exchange announced that new users must confirm their address when registering, and existing customers will also be required to do so. However, sometime later, I was still not required to confirm my address. I don’t know if it’s a mistake or not, but I still manage to trade with incomplete KYC.
