Just the facts: on March 19, 2020 I did not fly Air France (on the 20th the president declared quarantine). Asked Compensair for help – they took my signature that I I authorize you to apply for and BELIEVE compensation. A couple of months later a message: AirFrance has refused you, we are suing you. A year later – AirFrance to you refused, we close your case. This is after 6 reminders and each time the same refusal – consideration takes from 3 to 6 months, then from 6 to 12 months. And NOT ONE document! Neither the refusal of AirFrance, nor the referral of the case to the court, nor the refusal of the court: there is no possibility of internal documents to disclose. They won’t even show you anything on your case.
Details: I could not go to Air France myself, because I bought my ticket through an agency. BUT: I have an electronic check made out to ErFrance, the agency has not even seen the money. And with such a certificate to lose a lawsuit?
The most likely thing is… Compensair just pockets large sums (my ticket was 1000 euros), returning tickets for 100-200 euros.
