fun shopping experience
Book Outlet is honestly a little dangerous if you love books and have no self-control. I went in planning to buy one title that caught my eye on Instagram, and somehow ended up with ten books in my cart. But at around $4 each, how could I not?
I ordered a mix of genres—fiction, memoirs, a couple of wellness titles, and even a coloring book (don’t judge me, it was cute). Everything came in better condition than I expected. The books were clean, the pages were crisp, and aside from a small dot or line on the edge of some pages (totally normal for remainders), they looked brand new.
Shipping was quick. I placed my order on a Sunday night, and the box showed up by Thursday afternoon. Everything was packed well, and not a single corner was bent. They even stacked the books by size, which for some reason made my inner organizer very happy.
The site isn’t as polished as Amazon or Barnes & Noble, but it gets the job done. I actually enjoy browsing through all the random categories—it feels more personal and less algorithm-driven. I’ve found authors I never would have discovered otherwise.
I already recommended Book Outlet to a few friends, and I’ll definitely keep ordering. It’s especially great if you read a lot and don’t want to spend a fortune. And let’s be honest, most of us don’t reread books enough to justify full price.
No complaints here. Well, maybe just one: it’s way too easy to spend money. My cart fills up faster than I can say “just one more.” But that’s more on me than them.
Final verdict? Great deals, great quality, and a fun shopping experience.
