definitely keep ordering
I started using Book Outlet mainly to buy children’s books for my niece and nephew, but now it’s become one of my go-to sites for affordable reading across the board. I’ve bought fiction, cookbooks, and even a few puzzle books for myself. The best part? The prices are almost suspiciously low.
Seriously — when you see brand new books selling for under $5, your first instinct is to assume they’re going to arrive torn, dirty, or looking like they’ve been through five garage sales. But nope. The books I got were clean and in great shape. Some had that little black remainder mark on the bottom, which didn’t bother me. If anything, it made me feel like I scored something exclusive.
The variety on the site is amazing. I could scroll through for hours. There’s something for every interest, though sometimes the search tool can be a little wonky. You really have to poke around and experiment with keywords, which can be frustrating if you’re in a hurry. It’s not as slick as Amazon, but it’s also way cheaper, so I’m not going to be too picky.
I did have one book arrive with a slightly bent corner. Not a big deal, but I wish the packaging was a little more protective. Still, considering what I paid, I’d say it’s a win.
Would I recommend it to friends? Absolutely, and I already have. If you’re a bookworm and don’t mind digging a bit, you’ll find treasures. Just don’t expect first editions in mint condition. It’s all about value.
For the price, convenience, and wide selection, Book Outlet earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. I’ll definitely keep ordering.
