I would strongly warn anyone against using FreelanceHunt.
I’ve been a client of FreelanceHunt for over 13 years — practically since its inception. In the early days, the platform was run by competent professionals who cared about users on both sides: clients and freelancers.
Today, it’s a completely different story. The service has degraded beyond recognition. The current team — including the owners — demonstrates an appalling lack of professionalism and technical understanding.
In my case, after funding a project where the developer failed to deliver anything, the arbitration team proved completely incapable of grasping even the simplest technical details. As a result, I lost my money — not because of a contractual issue, but because the platform is run by people who have no idea what they’re doing.
I would strongly warn anyone against using FreelanceHunt. You’re not just dealing with poor service — you’re risking real financial damage due to sheer incompetence.
Compared to platforms like Upwork — which I’ve also been using for over 13 years — FreelanceHunt feels like it’s being run by amateurs with zero accountability or technical background. Use it at your own risk.
