Good for experimenting, not so much for precision
I downloaded Coohom because I wanted to redesign my dorm room and see how everything would fit before buying anything. At first, it was exciting to play around with different styles and layouts. The AI tools suggested placements that actually worked, and seeing the 3D model come together was fun.
But after a while, I noticed some flaws. Some of the furniture options were outdated or not very stylish — hard to find something modern and trendy for a student vibe. And while the AI helps, it doesn’t always understand scale. I tried putting a twin bed in a dorm room and it suggested adding a giant sectional next to it, which obviously wouldn’t fit.
Also, the app occasionally lagged on my laptop, especially when I added multiple items. Sometimes I had to restart it just to keep going. It was useful for getting a general idea, but definitely not perfect for someone who wants total control or precision.
If you’re just experimenting or doing something small, it’s worth trying. But don’t expect miracles.
